Measurement. Measurement. Measurement.
Being in the PR business, all I hear is how important it is to "measure" what we do. It's important. We don't sell widgets so we need to be able to show our clients what they are getting for their money. It's also important for clients to measure their PR campaigns in addition to the measurement their PR firms do. This goes for big corporations as well as non-profits.
Google is doing their best to help those world savers out there with analytics.
