Kid dresses up as ballot box for Halloween

What a very creative idea. The kid had two slots, one for Obama and one for McCain.

Obama apparently won:

Ten-year-old Matthew Gilbert was so interested in this year’s presidential election, he decided to dress as a ballot box for Halloween and canvass his Northeast Portland neighborhood. People could show their preference by dropping a treat into one slot for Democratic Sen. Barack Obama or another slot for Republican Sen. John McCain. Gilbert, a fourth-grader at Irvington Elementary, came up with 137 pieces for Obama, 21 for McCain, 1 write-in for Ralph Nader, and a 5 percent margin of error for treats eaten along the way. But he’s the ultimate winner
