In a classless display of, err, journalism, the Herald reported today that they ran with a bogus source that lead to a story THAT GOT NATIONAL ATTENTION about the Pats allegedly video taping the Rams walk through the morning of the Superbowl. Apparently, the "source" wasn't reliable, but they ran with it anyways. So this morning, after all the hubub about the Walsh meeting, we wake up to this headline:
I know the Herald isn't know for pulitzer prize winning journalism, but come on guys. Don't you check your sources? Hello attribution? Are you there?
How can you run with a bogus source planting a story that YOU KNOW will get national attention. Actually, I know the answer to this already:
TO GET ATTENTION AND SELL PAPERS.
Morons.
