Saw this story and it brought back memories. You see, at one point, I considered myself a "graffiti artist." Little did I know, it was just stupidity. Seems as if the cycle has continued with the overnight bombing of Brockton.
Back in the days when I wasn't into responsibility, I used to bomb train yards and public property. It was stupid. I know this. So to those that consider themselves graffiti artists, please note there are other outlets to show your creativity. I suggest going to art school or channeling the artist in you in a way that you can have fun and eventually get paid! Don't risk being arrested. It's not worth it.
Fortunately enough for me I smartened up (a couple court dates and community service could do that to you).

Man, you east coast kids... I am reminded of a book I read recently, Fortress of Solitude by Jonathan Lethem, where he describes his career as a vandal in 1980s Brooklyn.
By the way, I was passing a construction site in my town and someone had spray painted on it "STOP VANDALISM!"
