KD Defensive Player of the Year

KG wins the Defensive player of the year award. So I guess this is the league's way of saying that he's not going to win the MVP.

Defense is a team thing. I do think KG brought another level of intensity to the Celtics this year. So in that sense, yes, he deserves this award. The team is playing the best defense I've seen in years. Tom Thibodeau should really get the award. He's the guy behind the curtain, calling all the defensive schemes. He's been the key to the defensive success this year.
