No matter how long I've been in the PR business, the blood flows a lot faster when I've nailed a media opp for a client.
Today I landed an opp with the Associated Press for the YMCA of Greater Boston. The story is about teens and summer jobs. The Y does a fantastic job at getting kids off the street and getting them in constructive, life-lesson type programs as well as jobs. Mission driven orgs like the Y are a sore sight in a world that's filled with teen violence. Props to the Y and other orgs like it for doing their part.
