So we've all heard the news about the construction worker who buried a Red Sox jersey in concrete at the site of the new Skankee stadium. Apparently, this sort of news bothers people.
I guess we live in a bubble in Red Sox Nation. Or maybe this means that those who aren't Sox or Skankees fans are really, really tired of all the madness that surrounds the two teams. Maybe it's both. I guess I understand that. We really are obsessed. After two world series rings since '04, the rivalry still holds water. Yea, it's not as intense as it was prior to '04, but the allure of the two teams doing battle is always entertaining. You never know what's going to happen - on or off the field. This story is an example of that.
So, hey, you folks outside of the Nation can continue to drink the hatorade. In the meantime, we'll continue to enjoy a long string of playoff appearances and great baseball against the schmucks in pinstripes.
