Virtual worlds...what?!?

So it appears that Google is eyeing its own 'Second Life?'. I'm pumped. It would be great if they dove in.

WHO CARES?!?! I don't see a use for virtual worlds. I think it's just silly and a matter of tech geeks not having anything else to do. Seriously though, I just don't see the attraction.
