CSN hires Troy Brown as NFL Analyst

As you heard earlier this week and as I reported here on this blog, Troy Brown retired this month. Rumors were swirling that he was going to take a job with a media outlet. Those rumors are true:

CSN hires Troy Brown as NFL Analyst

Troy Brown, who announced his retirement this morning, is joining Comcast SportsNet as an NFL Analyst.

Brown will join Gary Tanguay and Michael Felger on Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight and debuts tonight at 10 p.m.

This is a great move by Troy and his agent. Being on a local sports show will only enhance Troy's reputation as a life-long Patriot. The guy's brand is solid here in the greater Boston area. It was very smart of him to stay in these parts and really play up to the love that the fans showed him during his long and successful NFL career.

I'm making the call now...Troy Brown will get the first sit-down interview with Tom Brady during this season.
